Sign up now to attend 2001: A HERN Odyssey on January 10, 1998 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. You will also have a change to present your vision of The Next Step Beyond to all your fellow HERNites.

1997-98 HERN Voyager Travel Grant

The Voyager Travel Grant is a travel support program to support the efforts of Hawaii Eduction & Research Network (HERN) participants to tell their HERN stories at national conferences. $25,000 will be appropriated for the 1997-98 Voyager Travel Grant.

Summer School

HERN, in collaboration with the University of Hawaii College of Educaiton Master of Education in Teaching Program, sponsored a summer program which provided an opportunity for selected participants to design, implement and manage new or transformed learning enviroments at two summer school sites: Ma'ema'e Elementary School (as part of the extended Roosevelt Complex) and Dole Intermediate School. An outreach site on Lana'i will be included as part of the Dole Summer Session.

HERN Crossing
