Christine Collins Biography

Biographical Sketch for Christine D. Collins

Christine D. Collins is a sixth grade teacher in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Her students at Hillside Elementary set up one of the first World Wide Web servers in an elementary school. This server was set up in collaboration with the University of Minnes ota College of Education. Christine's student activities on the Hillside server have been recognized in publications from all over the world, including "Best of the Web" recognition from PC Week magazine.

Ms. Collins earned her teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin, and is presently working on a Master of Educational Technology degree. She has received a local "Teacher of Excellence" award for each the the past three years.
