Problem:

Students are failing in school, so how do we correct this problem.

Hypothesis:

We think that the low scores in school are due to the amount of students not paying attention.

PROCEDURE:

1.Put a survey question on e-mail to all ECELL students asking "What method do you think a teacher should use in order to get a student's attention?"

2. Collect the responses and the amount that answered.

3. Put the results into a graph (pie).

 OBSERVATION:

After taking the survey results and putting it into a graph, we found that 50% of the survey takers want the teacher to be more fun 25% think the teacher should lecture on the importance of listening, and 25% think the teacher should reward more.

CONCLUSION:

We think this information will let teachers know how to help us in the future with out education because now the interests and will know how to get our attention during class.

Proposal:

We feel that it is important for a student to pay attention nowbecause they will need the skill when they grow up. For a teacher to be able to get a student's attention, he\she must find out what his\her students' interests are first. This information and graph is to help take another step in a teacher's quest to gain a student's attention.
