Description:
Students will practice sustained expository/argumentative writing for a variety of audiences and purposes. Emphasis will be on logical and rhetorical principles, stylistic concerns, research method, and evaluation of source materials and legal/ethical issues of writing non-fiction.

Computer Requirement:
A computer with at least 32 MB recommended. PC with Windows 95 (later version), 98, or NT, or a Power Macintosh running System 8.4 or higher. If your machine is not already connected to a network and has an IP address, you need a modem to dial into your campus modem pool or an Internet Service Provider to obtain an IP address and to be connected to the Internet.
