Course
Description: | Module 197C Ecommerce and Ebusinesss Services. This will
survey the uses of the Internet by business with analyses of sites
designed to provide those services. These services will include an
overview of marketing and informational services, ecommerce virtual store
fronts, online retail banking and commercial banking, Business to Business
services such as inventory supply, online invoicing and bill presentment
along with basic intranet and extranet descriptions.

| Technical Requirements: | Online course allow students to take a course via computer technology and the Internet. It is recommended that if you register for an online course, you must feel comfortable using a computer and basic Internet skills ((browsing, sending e-mail, saving/sending files) .
Computer Requirement:
A computer with at least 32 MB recommended. PC with Windows 95 (later version), 98, or NT, or a Power Macintosh running System 8.4 or higher. If your machine is not already connected to a network and has an IP address, you need a modem to dial into your campus modem pool or an Internet Service Provider to obtain an IP address and to be connected to the Internet. You should have at least a 28.8 – kbps modem. You will need a browser to allow you to view the WWW (e.g. Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher, or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher)
