Description: | Analyzes the forces determing national and international economic performance in such areas as employment, inflation, production, money supply, and trade. Presents, in historical context, the modern economic situation. Describes the relative roles of major economic institutions such as businesses, labor unions, government agencies, international organizations, and the banks.

| Technical Requirements: | Online course allow students to take a course via computer technology and the Internet. It is recommended that if you register for an online course, you must feel comfortable using a computer and basic Internet skills ((browsing, sending e-mail, saving/sending files) .
Computer Requirement:
A computer with at least 32 MB recommended. PC with Windows 95 (later version), 98, or NT, or a Power Macintosh running System 8.4 or higher. If your machine is not already connected to a network and has an IP address, you need a modem to dial into your campus modem pool or an Internet Service Provider to obtain an IP address and to be connected to the Internet.
