Description:
The study of major American plays, short stories and poetry from 1800 to the present.

Online course allow students to take a course via computer technology and the Internet. It is recommended that if you register for an online course, you must feel comfortable using a computer and basic Internet skills ((browsing, sending e-mail, saving/sending files) .

Computer Requirement:
A computer with at least 32 MB recommended. PC with Windows 95 (later version), 98, or NT, or a Power Macintosh running System 8.4 or higher. If your machine is not already connected to a network and has an IP address, you need a modem to dial into your campus modem pool or an Internet Service Provider to obtain an IP address and to be connected to the Internet. You should have at least a 28.8 – kbps modem. You will need a browser to allow you to view the WWW (e.g. Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher, or Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher)
